To promote and protect the interest of African American business and professional women; to serve as a bridge for young people seeking to enter business and professional careers; to improve the quality of life in local and global communities; and to foster good fellowship.

 Greetings,

I am elated that you took time today to visit the official website of The North Central District of NANBPWC. Inc. It is an honor to serve as the 20th NCD Governor in the “Mightiest of the Mighty North Central District” where we are “Changing the Way We Do Business and our Future, Impacting the Communities”.

The NCD continues to focus on our National Program Initiatives so that members continue to learn about important issues that our communities are facing today. As business and professional women, our programs center around Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Technology and Service (LET’S) Health, Employment, Education and the Development (HEED) of our economy.

Our special projects include Health issues, domestic violence, human trafficking, social justice, breast cancer, and heart health, just to name a few.

Our signature programs are Women’s History, Founders Day and The Mary E. Singletary Vocal Arts Competition.

We are always reaching out to quality women, youth and ombudsmen with business and professional skills who are willing to collaborate or become a part of this wonderful organization. We are here to plant the seed for youth and guide them in the right direction so they can grow to be our leaders of tomorrow. We offer online and in person training and workshops, service programs, as we continue to carry out the mission, the vision and the programs that are making an impact in the communities.

I would like to Thank You for investing your time, to visit our website.

ABOUT
NCD

As members of The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs Inc.  we take pride in delivering impactful programs and projects where we are making a difference in our communities.

NCD is one of six districts that make up this glorious national association of powerful, black, professional women. Our network of business owners meet to share knowledge, support product development, and serve our young women and children. Our organization is geared to involve the whole family in building and growing our communities.

Our membership structure is geared to involve women, men, young adults and children. We invite minority business owners to also network with us to grow their business using training in leadership, entrepreneur planning, and obtain technology certification.

National Theme: Moving Forward with a Purpose TM

District Theme: “Changing the Way We Do Business and Our Future, Impacting the Communities”.

District Logo: The current designwas created by Governor Denise Black-Poon.

District Slogan: We are the Mightiest of the Mighty, North Central District.

National Pledge: As a member of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Incorporated, I pledge to become involved, to be constant, cooperative, enthusiastic and concerned about the problems and social ills affecting the young people of my community. I will help to promote the interest of business and professional women and invest myself in the willing service of others.

The Collect: Keep us, oh God from pettiness. Let us be large in thought, in words, and indeed. Let us be done with fault finding and leave off self-seeking. May we put away all pretense and meet each other face to face without self-pity and without prejudice. May we never be hasty in judgement and always generous. Let us take time for all things. Make us grow calm, serene and gentle. Teach us to put into action our better impulses, straight-forward, and unafraid. Grant that we may realize it is the little things that create differences. That in the

big things in life we are as one. And May we strive to touch and to know the great, common human heart of us all and Lord God, let us not forget to be kind.

Our Core Programs are focused on Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Technology and Service (L.E.T.'S). The Service component is comprised of subcategories including Health, Education, Employment, and Economic Development (HEED) along with Human and Sex Trafficking Awareness and Prevention, Safe Encounters, Get Ready! Stay Ready! (A focus on Emergency Preparedness), Triple the Pink for Triple Negative Breast Cancer, Domestic Violence and Maternal Mortality and Morbidity. We promote our mandated programs such as
Founders’ Day, Vocal Arts, Women’s History, Think Heart Think Health and Scholarships.
